So, this weekend has been one of those Glass half full/empty sorta deals
Okay, so while I'm at work, I find an add on Craigslist (Don't tell my Employer...) for a PS3 for $320 including an HDMI cable, 2 games, and the console & cords.
I call the guy up and inquire about, says he'll drop it to $250 without the HDMI Cable and one of the Games. Thought it was a pretty good idea and said to meet me at my house after work.
So, he gets there, hooks it up, and the darn thing doesn't WORK...
He says it might be the cables and will see what he can do and jets.
About twenty minutes later, my older dog, Becca, begins whining outside, like shes in pain.
We investigate, she's limping, we take her to the Vet.
Says a Tumor on her leg is causing the pain and that either she can be put down for $70 or the tumor removed for $250
Guess who Mommsey turns to? Guess who had the money on hand because his PS3 deal fell through? Guess who did the procedure themselves?
Okay, not so much the last one
But, turns out the tumor went benign(for now) after the pain, so she's good(for now).
So wake up next morning, moping about my PS3(Yes, I am VERY self Centered), and watch a couple eps of Bleach(Vizards...) surf the net, clean my room, do other Saturday stuff, go to sleep.
Wake up today, hit repeat, until Moms says we're heading on a wild Goose Chase, so to speak.
So, we jet up to freaking PASCO COUNTY to pick up my two and a half week old Nephew of my Older Brother's creation. You think that's a long drive? Try this, then we go down to LARGO. Yeah, LARGO, about fifty MILES AWAY to show the babe to ma Grandmum.
Get bored, call around GameStops asking what the cheapest PS3 they had was(Again, yes, self-centered)to find that it would be a used newer-40 Gig at $230. Add tax, and guess how much that is? $250. TWO MOTHER-EFFING FIFTY!!!
So, with the money burning a whole in ma wallet, i go out and purchase it
So, yeah, Dog in Pain, and I have a PS3!!!!!
